Welcome to Wilberforce Primary

Wilberforce Primary is a warm, friendly and welcoming primary school in the heart of Queen’s Park in north west London.  Our children, who come from a wide range of backgrounds, are inquisitive, enthusiastic and energetic individuals who love learning about the world around them.

The last couple of years at Wilberforce have been transformational and we are now judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’ with ‘outstanding’ features.  In our most recent inspection, inspectors were impressed with every aspect of our school – the way we teach, our extracurricular programme, the behaviour and attendance of our pupils and the focus we place on making sure every single pupil achieves well.

As a part of United Learning, we are able to offer our pupils a broader range of experiences and opportunities than we could as a stand-alone school.  Our pupils and staff benefit greatly from working with schools across the country including the nearby ‘Outstanding’ Paddington Academy.

Just as we want our pupils to excel in the classroom, we also want them to develop into confident, responsible and ambitious individuals.  Through our commitment to deliver an Education with Character, we seek to provide our pupils with countless opportunities to try something new, develop different skills and learn about the world outside the classroom.  We provide ample opportunities for our children to become active members of the local community – as Eco-champions, musicians, sportsmen and women, fundraisers and even junior politicians!

Everyone at Wilberforce Primary is committed to making sure that children and their learning, well-being and safety are at the heart of all we do.  I know I speak for all staff when I say that the most important thing for us is hearing children say that they really enjoy their time at our school.

This website can only give you a glimpse into life at Wilberforce Primary.  You are very welcome to come and visit us, meet our teachers and see for yourself how happy our pupils are.

Kindest regards,

Claire Macfie
