Last night, pupils from Wilberforce Primary school took to the stage at the Copper Box Arena to perform in a fantastic production of Carmen! alongside their peers from United Learning’s national group of schools.
On Thursday 7 March, Wilberforce Primary pupils participated in a special classical music workshop. Led by Classical Crossover Soprano Joanna Forest,the workshop, which also involved children from Mary Paterson Nursery School , introduced pupils to the world of classical music.

Wilberforce Primary is celebrating after its Head Teacher, Claire Macfie, was named ‘School Leader of the Year’ at United Learning’s national ‘Best in Everyone’ Primary School Awards.
On Thursday 7 June, pupils at Wilberforce Primary tried their hand at being forensic scientists for the day. Working in a mobile laboratory with PhD students from University College London (UCL), the pupils used a variety of scientific techniques to determine whether a painting was an original or forgery.
Last night Wilberforce Primary Head Teacher Claire Macfie was congratulated by Prime Minister the Rt Hon Theresa May for her fantastic work in driving improvement at the Queen’s Park primary school.
